It’s been an amazing week at Openstage HQ.  Sometimes when you are waiting for something to happen it can be like waiting for a bus in the rain, with the only belief in a strong proposition as an umbrella. When your self belief and patience is at its wits end then, suddenly, three buses turn up at once.  That summarises this last week in a nutshell for me.

A fantastic album and an army of loyal fans is a great start!

Openstage is delighted that we were able to play a part in marketing the album and supporting The Wombats social media campaign to produce a week their fans won’t forget in a hurry.

Blockchain came into the world from e-currencies as methodology of creating a secure, incorruptible, non-centralized, transactional process. In other words, block chain could be described as a distributed banking ledger system with peer-to-peer exchange tracking and recording. This origin provides the basis for why block-chain technology is arguably not very sensible for ticket sales. If block chain is used for immutable transactions such as buying a fixed item in a one off clear value exchange where the ledger recording of something specific and structured is needed, then great.
